43' - William Mulligan passes a long ball to Eric Monaghan.  Eric Monaghan tries to unleash a long range shot...but the ball flies wide of the post!

45' - John McCalmont finds Paul Secombe with a long ball.  Paul Secombe looks to hit a long range shot past the keeper...but the shot is saved by the keeper!  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time. 

46' - Dumbarton kick the ball off for the start of the second half.  

51' - Robert Laird plays a long pass to Tom McClenny.  Tom McClenny attempts to speed past Iain McCammon, but is brought down.    The referee has no hesitation in showing Iain McCammon the yellow card. That will be a freekick for Rutherglen FC.  

52' - Ronald Donne places the ball to take the freekick.  He floats the ball into the box, but the ball misses everyone.  

53' - There is going to be a subsitution.  It looks like Eddie Bennett is going to be taken off.  Eric McAllister is going to be brought on.

78' - John McClintock spots a run from Eric Monaghan.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, and Eric Monaghan takes the ball.  Eric Monaghan looks to strike the ball into the corner of the net...and its in! It's a lovely goal from Eric Monaghan for Rutherglen FC!  The diving keeper couldn't get near the ball!

78' - Dumbarton kick the ball off for the restart.  

82' - Eric Monaghan takes the ball past Arthur McBay with a turn of pace.  

87' - John McClintock plays a long pass to Ronald Kidd.  Ronald Kidd sees a run from Ronald Donne.  He attempts a quick throughball, but Ronald Donne  is unable to take the ball down!  

89' - Ronald Donne attempts to use his skills to beat Gavin Craig and succeeds, sending his opponent the wrong way!  

89' - Ronald Donne looks to shoot from distance into the corner of the net...but the keeper dives and manages to stop the shot!
