Brandon McLean reaches the byline and tries a cutback and finds Robert Cranston.  Robert Cranston tries to shoot the ball into the top of the net...and its in! It's an excellent goal from Robert Cranston for Portsmouth!  The keeper couldn't get near the ball!

6' - Northampton kick the ball off for the restart.  

9' - John McClelland passes to Elliot McTyre.  Elliot McTyre finds John McClelland with a short pass.  John McClelland hits the ball long to Noah Jones.  Noah Jones sees a run from Glynn Nevin.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, but the linesman raises his flag for offside!  

14' - Ashley Cooper attempts to use his skills to beat Callum Waddy, and manages to dribble past his opponent!  

16' - Ashley Cooper looks to shoot from distance into the corner of the net...but the shot is parried by Amer Hannan!  Robert Cranston gets to the ball first...Robert Cranston tries to place the ball past the keeper...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Jack Hier is first to the loose ball and is able to clear.

23' - Robert Mellish finds John Oluwole with a short pass.  John Oluwole sees a run from Brandon McLean.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, and Brandon McLean runs on to the ball.  Brandon McLean attempts a shot...but the keeper manages to tip the shot round the post!  The linesman flags for a corner for  Portsmouth.  Ashley Cooper places the ball to take the corner.  He whips the ball into the box, and manages to find Robert Cranston.  Robert Cranston gets his head to the ball towards goal...but the shot is saved by the keeper!  

25' - Glynn Nevin crosses the ball into the box, but opposing player Rashid Mohamad takes possession.  

26' - Glynn Nevin tackles Rashid Mohamad and takes possession.  Northampton try to launch a counter attack.  Glynn Nevin looks to strike a long range shot into the top of the net...but the ball flies over the bar!

29' - Kyle Flynn passes the ball to Martyn Cadwallader.  Martyn Cadwallader passes to Rashid Mohamad.  Rashid Mohamad attempts to use his skills to beat Elliot McTyre and succeeds, sending his opponent the wrong way!  

30' - Rashid Mohamad spots a run from John Oluwole.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, and John Oluwole takes the ball.  John Oluwole shoots, aiming for the corner of the net...but the shot is saved by the keeper!  

35' - Amer Hannan plays a long ball to Noah Jones.  Robert Mellish dispossesses Noah Jones and the ball goes loose.  John Oluwole plays a short pass to Robert Mellish.  Robert Mellish plays a long ball to Brandon McLean.  Brandon McLean attempts to beat Duncan Colden using his skills and succeeds, neatly slipping past the opposing player!  

40' - Brandon McLean takes a shot from outside the area towards goal...and Brandon McLean scores!  That's a good goal from the Portsmouth player!  The keeper got a hand to the ball but couldn't stop the shot!

40' - Northampton kick the ball off for the restart.  

45' - Jack Hier finds Callum Waddy with a short pass.  Callum Waddy plays a short pass to Chris Dewey.  Chris Dewey passes a long ball to Callum Waddy.  Callum Waddy slides the ball to Glynn Nevin. 49' - Portsmouth attempt to counter.  Robert Mellish runs with the ball, but is brought down illegally by Sam McCorquodale.  That will be a freekick for Portsmouth.  

56' - There is going to be a subsitution.  It looks like Arthur Skene is going to be taken off.  Desiderio Zaragoza is brought on from the bench.  

58' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Callum Waddy will come off.  Darragh MacMaster is brought on from the bench.

72' - Ian Aikin tries to shoot from distance into the top of the net...and Ian Aikin scores!  That's a nice goal from the Northampton player!  The keeper couldn't get near the ball!

77' - Rashid Mohamad slides the ball to Connor Meo.  Connor Meo passes to Brandon McLean.  Brandon McLean passes to Rashid Mohamad.  Rashid Mohamad plays a long pass to Desiderio Zaragoza.  Desiderio Zaragoza sees Robert Cranston making a run.  He attempts a long throughball to his teammate, and Robert Cranston takes the ball.  Robert Cranston fires a shot, aiming for the corner of the net...but its wide!
