He is unable to hold it though...Rodrigo Nogales is first to the loose ball and is able to clear.

30' - Sagaz Ramundo sees Diego Cava making a run.  He attempts a long ball over the top, but the linesman signals for offside!  

32' - Carlos Gil successfully tackles Jose Veloz and takes possession.  Carlos Gil attempts to outskill Asil Oubouhou, and manages to skip past his opponent!  

38' - Carlos Gil passes the ball to Rodrigo Nogales.  Rodrigo Nogales finds Flannery Nkoma with a short pass.  Flannery Nkoma finds Orson Mouyal with a short pass.  Orson Mouyal attempts to beat Asil Oubouhou using his skills, but is tripped.    The referee pulls out a card...it's yellow.  He books Asil Oubouhou.That will be a freekick for Mérida.  

40' - Flannery Nkoma stands over the ball, preparing to take the freekick.  He lifts the ball into the box, and manages to find Guillermo Cardo.  Guillermo Cardo directs a powerful header down towards the bottom corner...but Reyes Roque performs a diving save, to stop the shot!  

41' - Reyes Roque spots a run from Olindo Cura.  He attempts a long throughball to his teammate, but Olindo Cura has strayed offside!  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time.

52' - Vicente Mazo passes a long ball to Shamsadeen Allamati.  Shamsadeen Allamati passes to Orson Mouyal.  Orson Mouyal tries to beat Sagaz Ramundo using his ball skills and succeeds, deftly slipping past the opposing player!
