6' - With a turn of pace, Aleksei Leja beats Varocher Oliphant, but is then fouled.    The referee shows Varocher Oliphant the yellow card! That will be a freekick for Latvia.  

14' - Evgeny Calitis finds Sasha Baltbardis with a short pass.  Sasha Baltbardis sees a run from Arseni Ceplis.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, and Arseni Ceplis runs on to the ball.  Arseni Ceplis strikes the ball, aiming for the corner of the net...but the keeper manages to tip the shot round the post!  The linesman signals its a corner for Latvia.  Nikolai Mazais will take the corner.  He curls the ball into the box, but the ball misses everyone.  

18' - Evgeny Jaunzems attempts to speed past Matt Bellis, but is brought down.    The referee pulls out a card...it's yellow.  He books Matt Bellis.  That will be a freekick for Latvia.  

19' - Arseni Ceplis stands over the ball, preparing to take the freekick.  He floats the ball into the box, but Similien Desailly intercepts and takes possession.  

22' - Matt Bellis speeds past Vasili Vecvanags.  

26' - Matt Bellis passes the ball to Nicholas Banks.  Nicholas Banks passes to Bruce Howat.  Nikolai Mazais successfully tackles Bruce Howat and the ball goes loose.  Chris George sees a run from Dave Polston.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, but Dave Polston has strayed offside!  

34' - Arseni Ceplis sees Nikolai Mazais making a run.  He attempts a long ball over the top, and Nikolai Mazais takes the ball.  Nikolai Mazais tries to strike the ball into the top of the net...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Arseni Ceplis is first to the loose ball...Arseni Ceplis looks to strike the ball into the top of the net...but the ball flies over the bar!

36' - Nicholas Banks spots a run from Clint Riggins.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, and Clint Riggins is able to take the ball.  Clint Riggins shoots...but Georgiy Rozulauks deflects the shot out of play.  The linesman signals its a corner for Canada.  Tobias Batie places the ball to take the corner.  He curves the ball into the box and finds Varocher Oliphant.  Varocher Oliphant directs a header down towards the bottom corner...but the shot is offtarget!

42' - Chris George slides the ball to Isaac Todd.  Isaac Todd finds Tobias Batie with a short pass.  Tobias Batie spots a run from Dave Polston.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, but Dave Polston has strayed offside!  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time. 

45' - Latvia kick the ball off for the restart.  

52' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Zernebog Jaunvimba will come off.  Luka Priecigs is going to be brought on.  

55' - Bruce Howat slides the ball to Clint Riggins.  Clint Riggins takes a shot from long range towards goal...but the keeper manages to parry the shot!  Dave Polston is first to the ball...Dave Polston tries to slide the ball past the keeper...and Dave Polston scores!  That's a brilliant goal from the Canada player!  The keeper got a hand to the ball but it wasn't enough!

55' - There is going to be a subsitution.  It looks like Ivan Ezers is going to be taken off.  Aleksandr Egle is going to be brought on.  

55' - Latvia kick the ball off for the restart.  

60' - Luka Priecigs plays a short pass to Nikolai Mazais.  Nikolai Mazais plays the ball to Luka Priecigs.  Luka Priecigs hits the ball long to Evgeny Jaunzems.  Evgeny Jaunzems plays the ball to Arseni Ceplis.  Arseni Ceplis passes to Evgeny Jaunzems.  Evgeny Jaunzems attempts to outskill Isaac Todd. Tobias Batie hits a shot, aiming for the top of the net...but the keeper manages to tip the shot over the crossbar!  That will be a corner for  Canada.  Matt Bellis places the ball to take the corner.  He curves the ball into the box and finds Dave Polston.  Dave Polston gets his head to the ball down towards the bottom corner...but the shot is saved by the keeper!  

76' - Bruce Howat passes a long ball to Matt Bellis.  Matt Bellis spots a run from Varocher Oliphant.  He attempts a quick throughball, and Varocher Oliphant is able to control the ball.  Varocher Oliphant tries to hit the ball past the keeper...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Clint Riggins is first to the loose ball...Clint Riggins attempts to shoot the ball into the top of the net...but Georgiy Rozulauks stops the shot!  He can't hold it though...Evgeny Calitis is first to the loose ball and is able to clear.

78' - Chris George spots a run from Varocher Oliphant.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, but the linesman signals for offside!  

85' - Bruce Howat plays the ball to Jonathan Gough.  Jonathan Gough passes to Isaac Todd.  Isaac Todd finds Tobias Batie with a short pass.  Tobias Batie crosses the ball and finds Dave Polston.  Dave Polston gets above the defence and heads the ball towards goal...and Dave Polston scores!  That's a fine goal from the Canada player!  The ball went in off the underside of the crossbar!

86' - Latvia kick the ball off for the restart.
