18' - Peter Morris slides the ball to Paul Souter.  Paul Souter tries to beat Dennis McCathern using his ball skills.  The opposing player is sent the wrong way and Paul Souter runs with the ball!  

19' - Paul Souter whips in a cross, and manages to find Peter Morris.  Peter Morris gets above the defence and heads the ball attempting to beat Tommy McLeod...but the shot sails over the bar!

22' - Marcus Murray plays a short pass to Hugh Murdock.  Hugh Murdock hits the ball long to Dennis McCathern.  Dennis McCathern fires a shot from long range...and Dennis McCathern scores!  That's a lovely goal from the Gala Fairydean player!  The ball bounced off the post and into the net!

22' - Irvine FC kick the ball off for the restart.  

23' - Robert McCall plays the ball to Martin Watts.  Martin Watts passes to Paul Souter.  Paul Souter speeds past Marcus Murray.  

25' - Dennis McCathern fires a shot from outside the area towards goal...but its wide!

26' - Andrew Laidlaw passes the ball to Martin Watts.  Bruce McCready successfully tackles Martin Watts and takes the ball.  Robert McClure tackles Bruce McCready and the ball goes loose.  Charles MacVicar sees Jason Malloye making a run.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, but Jason Malloye is caught offside!  

33' - Bruce McCready plays a short pass to Ewan Mulryan.  Robert McCall tackles Ewan Mulryan and gains possession for his team.  Robert McCall passes to Jamie Sheedy.  Jamie Sheedy passes the ball to Robert McClure.  Robert McClure plays the ball to Marcus Dyer.  Marcus Dyer sees a run from Andrew Campbell.  He tries to split the defence with a throughball, but the linesman signals for offside!

He is unable to hold it though...Jamie MacNeill is first to the ball and makes the clearance.

38' - Ron McAfee passes to Marcus Murray.  Marcus Murray finds Charles MacVicar with a short pass.  Charles MacVicar slides the ball to Bruce McCready.  Bruce McCready sees a run from Dennis McCathern.  He attempts to play him through with a quick ball, and Dennis McCathern takes the ball.  Dennis McCathern tries to shoot the ball into the corner of the net...but the shot is deflected out of play by the keeper!  That will be a corner for  Gala Fairydean.  Neil Nasmyth will take the corner.  He sends the ball into the box, but opposing player James McAllen takes possession.  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time. 

45' - Irvine FC kick the ball off for the restart.  

49' - Charles MacVicar passes to Dennis McCathern.  Dennis McCathern crosses the ball into the box, but opposing player Robert McClure takes possession.  

51' - There is going to be a subsitution.  It looks like Charles MacVicar is going to be taken off.  Cillian Fitzgerald is brought on from the bench.

66' - Peter Morris looks to shoot from distance into the top of the net...but the shot is tipped over the crossbar by Tommy McLeod!  The linesman flags for a corner for  Irvine FC.  Peter Morris places the ball to take the corner.  He curls the ball into the box, but the ball is overhit and misses everyone.  

66' - Marcus Dyer curves the ball into the box, but opposing player Andy Dalton takes possession.  

79' - Cillian Fitzgerald finds Dennis McCathern with a long ball.  Jamie Sheedy successfully tackles Dennis McCathern and the ball goes loose.  Alex MacKinnon looks to hit a long range shot past the keeper...but the ball hits the post!  Cillian Fitzgerald is first to the loose ball...Cillian Fitzgerald shoots towards goal...but its wide!

83' - Gordon McComb whips in a cross, and manages to find Paul Souter.  Paul Souter jumps up and gets his head to the ball attempting to beat Tommy McLeod...but the keeper manages to stop the shot!  

89' - Peter Morris crosses the ball into the box and finds Marcus Dyer.  Marcus Dyer powers a header towards goal...but the ball flies over the bar!
