25' - Fraser Meehan passes a long ball to Jim McCray.  Jim McCray finds Adam McCauley with a short pass.  Anton MacKintosh tackles Adam McCauley and the ball goes loose.  Bruce McCamey hits the ball long to Andrew Ormonde.  Andrew Ormonde plays the ball to Max Napier.  Max Napier passes to Bruce McCamey.  Bruce McCamey spots a run from Dave MacKenna.  He attempts a long ball over the top, but Dave MacKenna  is unable to take the ball down!

32' - Alex Ryan tackles Max Napier and the ball goes loose.  Max Napier curls in a cross, and manages to find Bruce McCamey.  Bruce McCamey gets his head to the ball hoping to beat William Mulligan...and its in! Its a goal for Brechin!  The ball flew past the helpless goalkeeper!

33' - Rutherglen FC kick the ball off for the restart.  

38' - Robert Bennett dispossesses Tony Flanagan and takes possession.  Rutherglen FC launch a counter attack.  Robert Bennett attempts to outskill Bruce McCamey and succeeds, sending his opponent the wrong way!  

44' - Brechin try to launch a counter attack.  Dave MacKenna plays a long ball to Tony Flanagan.  Jim McCray successfully tackles Tony Flanagan and takes the ball.  Bruce McCamey successfully tackles Jim McCray and gains possession for his team.  Bruce McCamey sees Max Napier making a run.  He attempts to play a throughball, and Max Napier runs on to the ball.  Max Napier tries to shoot the ball into the top of the net...but the shot sails over the bar!

50' - Brechin try to launch a quick counter attack.  Dave MacKenna plays a long pass to Gordon Laing.  Gordon Laing plays the ball to Bruce McCamey.  Bruce McCamey sees a run from Andrew MacLaughlin.  He tries to release him with a throughball, and Andrew MacLaughlin is able to control the ball.  Andrew MacLaughlin hits the ball towards goal...but the keeper dives and manages to stop the shot!  

53' - There is going to be a subsitution.  It looks like Andrew MacLaughlin is going to be taken off.  Gordon Mack is brought on from the bench.

83' - Adam McCauley tries to hit a long range shot...but the shot is deflected out of play by the keeper!  The linesman flags for a corner for  Rutherglen FC.  Tom McClenny places the ball to take the corner.  He curls the ball into the box, and manages to find Robert Bennett.  Robert Bennett jumps up and gets his head to the ball down towards the bottom corner...but Peter Cooper gets down to stop the shot!  

85' - Peter Cooper sees Max Napier making a run.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, and Max Napier takes the ball.  Max Napier attempts a shot...but its wide!

90' - William Mulligan plays a long pass to Jim McCray.  Max Napier successfully tackles Jim McCray and takes possession.  Max Napier chips a long ball to Ian McAndrews.  Ian McAndrews crosses the ball into the box, finding Tommy McCracken.  Tommy McCracken is impeded by Neil Kinnock...and the referee blows his whistle and signals a penalty!  Anton MacKintosh will take the penalty.  He tries  to strike the ball into the top corner...and Anton MacKintosh scores!  Its a goal for Brechin!  The shot hit the upright on the way in.  The keeper had no chance!
