28' - John Rodgerson passes to Shamus McCrory.  Shamus McCrory passes a long ball to Bryan Forbush.  Bryan Forbush passes to John Sillers.  John Sillers runs with the ball, but is brought down illegally by Steven Leamon.    The referee pulls out the yellow card to book Steven Leamon.  That will be a freekick for Hartlepool.  

30' - Paul McNabb places the ball to take the freekick.  He curves the ball into the box and finds Daniel Bivin.  Daniel Bivin powers a header attempting to beat the keeper...but the ball flies wide of the post!

32' - Jamie MacArtney finds Connor Ovbiagele with a long ball.  Connor Ovbiagele sees Peter Winn making a run.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, but Peter Winn  is unable to take the ball down!  

33' - Mike Roger finds Shamus McCrory with a long pass.  Shamus McCrory sees Daniel Bivin making a run.  He attempts a quick throughball, but the linesman signals for offside!  

37' - Peter Winn finds Steven Leamon with a long ball.  Steven Leamon spots a run from Alec Morris.  He attempts to release him with a throughball, and Alec Morris runs on to the ball.  Alec Morris tries to place the ball past the keeper...and its in! It's a lovely goal from Alec Morris for Gateshead!  The keeper had no chance!

37' - Hartlepool kick the ball off for the restart.  

43' - Connor Ovbiagele finds Richard Watts with a short pass.  Richard Watts curls in a cross, and manages to find Peter Winn.  Peter Winn is brought down by Leo Colquhoun...and the referee immediately points to the spot!  Alec Morris places the ball to take the penalty.  He attempts  to hit the ball into the top corner...but the shot is saved by the keeper!  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time.
