Gunther Anich attempts the cutback, but Meryl May is unable to latch on to the ball and it goes loose!  Othmann Schellhammer dispossesses Jurgen Krumrey and takes possession.  

30' - Othmann Schellhammer runs with the ball, but is brought down illegally by Eloy Kann.  That will be a freekick for Carl Zeiss Jena.  

31' - Othmann Schellhammer places the ball to take the freekick.  He sends the ball into the box, but he only manages to find opposing player Curt Philipps.  

37' - Ulrich Schager hits the ball long to Dedrick Scheiber.  Dedrick Scheiber slides the ball to Helmutt Pershing.  Anton Blass tackles Helmutt Pershing and takes possession.  Meryl May dispossesses Anton Blass and takes possession.  Meryl May attempts to beat Waggoner Strehl using his skills, and manages to skip past his opponent!  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time.

50' - Gary Mechling slides the ball to Jurgen Krumrey.  Jurgen Krumrey plays a short pass to Curt Philipps.  Othmann Schellhammer successfully tackles Curt Philipps and takes possession.  Othmann Schellhammer spots a run from Meryl May.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, and Meryl May takes the ball.  Meryl May shoots...and its in! It's a superb goal from Meryl May for Carl Zeiss Jena!  The keeper got a hand to the ball but it wasn't enough!
