John Fairley gets his head to the ball attempting to beat Bob Owens...but Bob Owens stops the shot!  He can't hold it though...Fred Breckenridge is first to the ball and makes the clearance.

13' - John Ardrey passes the ball to Henry Thomas.  Henry Thomas attempts to beat Sid Ochefu using his skills and succeeds, deftly slipping past the opposing player!  

14' - Henry Thomas sees a run from Jake Keir.  He attempts a long ball over the top, but Jake Keir is caught offside!  

18' - Sid Ochefu finds James Kennedy with a long ball.  Marcus McAndrew dispossesses James Kennedy and the ball goes loose.  Ian Ikpeme spots a run from Andrew Perkins.  He attempts a quick throughball, and Andrew Perkins is able to take the ball.  Andrew Perkins attempts to shoot the ball into the corner of the net...but the shot is offtarget!

25' - James Kennedy successfully tackles Roger Lewis and the ball goes loose.  Arthur Owen chips a long ball to Roger Lewis.  Roger Lewis whips in a cross and finds John Fairley.  John Fairley shoots towards goal...and John Fairley scores!  That's a nice goal from the South Shields player!  The ball rebounded in off the post!

30' - Vince Glab spots a run from Henry Thomas.  He tries to split the defence with a throughball, and Henry Thomas runs on to the ball.  Henry Thomas looks to hit the ball past the keeper...but its wide!

41' - Bob Owens passes to Fred Breckenridge.  Fred Breckenridge chips a long ball to Chris Howell.  Chris Howell passes to Ron McCrary.  Ron McCrary plays a long pass to Sid Ochefu. 75' - Ian Ikpeme successfully tackles John Ardrey and takes possession.  Margate launch a counter attack.  Ian Ikpeme plays the ball to Ron McCrary.  Ron McCrary slides the ball to Ellis McQuillin.  Ellis McQuillin curves the ball into the box and finds Ian Ikpeme.  Ian Ikpeme shoots towards goal...but Bart Prichard manages to stop the shot!  

78' - Rich Echeruo slides the ball to James Kennedy.  James Kennedy spots a run from Ron McCrary.  He attempts a long throughball to his teammate, but the linesman signals for offside!  

82' - James Devin plays a long ball to Lloyd Rhees.  Lloyd Rhees slides the ball to John Fairley.  John Fairley looks to shoot from distance into the corner of the net...but the shot goes wide!

83' - Bob Owens sees a run from Ron McCrary.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, and Ron McCrary takes the ball.  Ron McCrary attempts a shot...but its wide!
