14' - John Conant slides the ball to Greg Matheson.  Greg Matheson plays a short pass to Yves Mellett.  Yves Mellett sees James Bowar making a run.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, but James Bowar has strayed offside!  

24' - Iliya á Ceaușescu tackles John Gath and the ball goes loose.  Yves Mellett looks to unleash a long range shot...but the shot is tipped around the post by Colin Lightbody!  The linesman flags for a corner for  Whitecaps.  Alejandro Estupinan will take the corner.  He curls the ball into the box, and manages to find Yves Mellett.  Yves Mellett directs a header towards goal...and its in! Its a goal for Whitecaps!  The keeper got a hand to the ball but it wasn't enough!
