36' - Mel Fordyce passes the ball to Dan Govern.  Dan Govern hits the ball long to Dale Dredge.  Dale Dredge sees Roy MacGuire making a run.  He tries to split the defence with a throughball, and Roy MacGuire runs on to the ball.  Roy MacGuire tries to shoot the ball into the corner of the net...but the shot is offtarget!

42' - Danny MacKinnon passes the ball to James MacAulay.  Ian Nixon successfully tackles James MacAulay and the ball goes loose.  Mark McCallion successfully tackles Dale Dredge and gains possession for his team.  Mark McCallion curves the ball into the box, but he only manages to find opposing player James MacAulay.  

45' - James MacAulay finds Amon Ukpolo with a long pass.  Amon Ukpolo finds Leighton Halloran with a short pass.  Leighton Halloran sees James McGill making a run.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, and James McGill takes the ball.  James McGill fires a shot...but the shot is offtarget!

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time.

47' - Dan Govern finds Amon Ukpolo with a short pass.  Amon Ukpolo passes to James McGill.  James McGill attempts a shot from long range, aiming for the top of the net...and its in! It's a good goal from James McGill for Hinckley!  The ball bounced off the post and into the net!

50' - Ray Toshack passes to Peter Kerrigan.  Peter Kerrigan passes the ball to Peter Furguson.  Peter Furguson spots a run from Brad Glover.  He attempts a long throughball to his teammate, and Brad Glover takes the ball.  Brad Glover tries to shoot the ball into the top of the net...and its in! Its a goal for Birkenhead!  The keeper got a hand to the ball but couldn't stop the shot!
