18' - Brett Taylor plays a long pass to Phil Oman.  Phil Oman passes to Glyn Pritchard.  Glyn Pritchard attempts to speed past Arthur Owen, but is brought down.    The referee pulls out the yellow card to book Arthur Owen.  That will be a freekick for Northampton.  

20' - Glyn Pritchard stands over the ball, preparing to take the freekick.  He lifts the ball into the box and finds Phil Oman.  Phil Oman looks to shoot the ball into the corner of the net...but the shot is tipped around the post by Bart Prichard!  The linesman flags for a corner for  Northampton.  Stephen Mowatt will take the corner.  He curves the ball into the box and finds Glyn Pritchard.  Glyn Pritchard flicks a header attempting to beat the keeper...and its in! It's a nice goal from Glyn Pritchard for Northampton!  The keeper got a touch but it wasn't enough!

21' - South Shields kick the ball off for the restart.  

24' - Hayden MacConnell sees a run from Alexander Forsyth.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, and Alexander Forsyth is able to take the ball.  Alexander Forsyth attempts the cutback, but Colin Sellards manages to get to the ball first!  

27' - Colin Sellards plays a long ball to Roger Lewis.  Roger Lewis finds John Fairley with a short pass.  John Fairley curves the ball into the box, but Hayden MacConnell intercepts the ball.  

28' - John Fairley dispossesses Hayden MacConnell and gains possession for his team.  John Fairley looks to strike a long range shot into the top of the net...but the shot sails over the bar!

29' - John McIntyre spots a run from William McBride.  He attempts a long ball over the top, but William McBride is caught offside!  

31' - Tommy McCardell finds Colin Sellards with a long pass.  Colin Sellards crosses the ball, but opposing player Hayden MacConnell takes possession.  

34' - Hayden MacConnell finds Brett Taylor with a long pass.  Brett Taylor takes a shot from distance, aiming for the corner of the net...and Brett Taylor scores!  That's a superb goal from the Northampton player!  The ball flew into the corner of the net!

48' - Roger Lewis slides the ball to Tommy McCardell.  Tommy McCardell plays the ball to Colin Sellards.  Colin Sellards uses his pace to beat Alexander Forsyth.  

50' - Colin Sellards tries to strike a long range shot into the corner of the net...but it hits the upright!  Malcolm Camblin gets to the ball first and clears.

53' - Phil Oman plays a short pass to William McBride.  William McBride curves the ball into the box, and manages to find Glyn Pritchard.  Arthur Owen brings down Glyn Pritchard...and the referee immediately blows his whistle - its a penalty!  Glyn Pritchard will take the penalty.  He tries  to strike the ball into the top corner...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...John Ardrey is first to the loose ball and is able to clear.

53' - There is going to be a subsitution.  It looks like Arthur Owen is going to be taken off.  Chris McGrath joins the game from the bench.
