Lee McClean plays a short pass to Mason Delaney.  Mason Delaney passes to Josh McClellan.  Josh McClellan spots a run from Glynn Allen.  He attempts a quick throughball, but the linesman signals for offside!  

38' - Glyn Pritchard plays a long pass to Phil Oman.  Phil Oman runs with the ball, but is brought down illegally by Gareth Jones.    The referee pulls out the yellow card to book Gareth Jones.  That will be a freekick for Northampton.  

39' - Brett Taylor places the ball to take the freekick.  He curves the ball into the box, but Dave Osmond intercepts and takes possession.  

42' - Glyn Pritchard spots a run from Brett Taylor.  He tries to release him with a throughball, and Brett Taylor is able to control the ball.  Brett Taylor hits the ball...but its wide!

44' - Bryn Uwatse passes to Lee McClean.  Lee McClean speeds past Sam Fitzgerald.

52' - Brett Taylor looks to strike a long range shot into the top of the net...but the shot is tipped over the crossbar by Bryn Uwatse!  That will be a corner for  Northampton.  Stephen Mowatt places the ball to take the corner.  He curls the ball into the box, but the ball goes over everyone.  

53' - Alexander Forsyth curves the ball into the box and finds Glyn Pritchard.  Gareth Jones brings down Glyn Pritchard...and the referee immediately blows his whistle - its a penalty!  Glyn Pritchard prepares to take the penalty.  He tries  to power the ball into the top corner...but the shot goes over!
