George Mitchell crosses the ball into the box and finds Alexander McPheters.  Alexander McPheters is impeded by Malcolm McWhirter...and the referee immediately points to the spot!  Tom Paterson places the ball to take the penalty.  He attempts  to strike the ball down the middle...but James Stirling manages to stop the shot!
