The keeper guessed the wrong way!

12' - Rutherglen FC kick the ball off for the restart.  

16' - Alan Elder passes the ball to Robert Laird.  Robert Laird plays the ball to Douglas Kelly.  Douglas Kelly passes to Chris McCaw.  Chris McCaw speeds past John MacNeill.  

18' - Peter Macmillan dispossesses Chris McCaw and the ball goes loose.  Ronald Thomas fires a shot from distance...but the ball hits the post!  John MacNeill gets to the ball first...John MacNeill attempts to hit the ball past the keeper...but the shot is saved by the keeper!

33' - Angus Gauld chips a long ball to Charles Haughey.  With a turn of pace, Charles Haughey beats Robert Laird.  

37' - Tommy McSherry runs with the ball, beating Brian Kelley.  

44' - John McClintock spots a run from Charlie Fairbairn.  He attempts a long ball over the top, but Charlie Fairbairn is unable to control the ball!  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time. 

46' - Rutherglen FC kick the ball off for the start of the second half.  

51' - Neil Buchanan looks to shoot from distance into the corner of the net...but John MacLeod performs a diving save, to stop the shot!  

59' - With a turn of pace, Charles Haughey beats Douglas Kelly, but is then fouled.    The referee shows Douglas Kelly the yellow card! That will be a freekick for Inverurie FC.  

60' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Douglas Kelly will come off.  Eric Rees joins the game from the bench.  

62' - Neil Buchanan crosses the ball into the box and finds Charles Haughey.  Charles Haughey flicks a header attempting to beat the keeper...but the shot is saved by the keeper!

89' - John McClintock successfully tackles Charles McCallister and takes the ball.  Rutherglen FC attempt to counter.  John McClintock sees Arthur McPheron making a run.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, and Arthur McPheron is able to take the ball.  Arthur McPheron attempts to strike the ball into the top of the net...but the ball flies over the bar!

91' - Tommy McSherry attempts to use his skills to beat Robert McBean, but is then fouled.  That will be a freekick for Inverurie FC.  

92' - Charles Haughey stands over the ball, preparing to take the freekick.  He curves the ball into the box and finds Stuart MacGillivray.  Stuart MacGillivray powers a header down towards the bottom corner...but the ball flies wide of the post!
