He attempts a long ball over the top, but Owen Garey has strayed offside!  

38' - Platt Lux brings the ball forward, attempting to outpace Sam Dewart, but is brought down.    The referee pulls out a card...it's yellow.  He books Sam Dewart.  That will be a freekick for Whitecaps.  

40' - John Coey finds Stephen Howat with a short pass.  Sam Dewart tackles Stephen Howat and gains possession for his team.  Sam Dewart runs with the ball, beating John Coey.  

46' - Guillermo Puentes sees a run from Stephen Howat.  He attempts a long throughball to his teammate, and Stephen Howat is able to take the ball.  Stephen Howat takes a shot towards goal...but the keeper manages to parry the shot!  James Carruthers is first to the loose ball...James Carruthers looks to shoot the ball into the corner of the net...but Sam Ottosen gets down to stop the shot!  

46' - The referee blows the whistle for half time. 

46' - San Diego kick the ball off for the start of the second half.  

52' - Juan Gusman slides the ball to Phil Thom.  Phil Thom passes to John Still.  John Still plays a short pass to Elias Flor.  Elias Flor sees a run from Sam Dewart.  He attempts a long ball over the top, and Sam Dewart is able to take the ball.  Sam Dewart attempts to chip the ball over the advancing Ian Reaney...but the keeper manages to parry the shot!  Will Hughes is first to the ball...Will Hughes shoots...but Ian Reaney gets down to stop the shot!  

52' - There is going to be a subsitution.  Elias Flor is going to be taken off.  Diego Durazo is brought on from the bench.  

56' - Ian Reaney hits the ball long to James Carruthers.  John Still tackles James Carruthers and takes possession.  John Still slides the ball to Gareth Keay.  Gareth Keay sees Cyryl Gadomski making a run.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, but the linesman raises his flag for offside!
