Jack Malone places the ball to take the corner.  He hits the ball into the box and finds Tom McCalister.  Tom McCalister gets above the defence and directs a header towards goal...but its wide!

16' - Duncan Sullivan hits the ball long to Stuart Treacy.  Stuart Treacy looks to strike a long range shot into the corner of the net...and its in! It's a nice goal from Stuart Treacy for Motherwell!  The ball bounced off the post and into the net!

17' - Hibernian kick the ball off for the restart.  

19' - Gordon MacAlpine finds John McIntyre with a short pass.  John McIntyre slides the ball to Bruce McBay.  Ian Crighton tackles Bruce McBay and takes the ball.  Ian Crighton crosses the ball, but opposing player Noel MacKintosh takes possession.  

23' - Bruce McBay passes to Tom McClenny.  Tom McClenny sees Tom McCalister making a run.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, and Tom McCalister runs on to the ball.  Tom McCalister strikes the ball...but the keeper dives and manages to stop the shot!  

35' - Eric McNelley plays a long ball to Gordon Clery.  Gordon Clery sees Nicholas McSpadden making a run.  He attempts a quick throughball, and Nicholas McSpadden is able to take the ball.  Nicholas McSpadden tries to shoot the ball into the corner of the net...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Jack Malone gets to the ball first and clears.

37' - Tom McCalister dispossesses Chris McNeilly and gains possession for his team.  Hibernian attempt a quick counter attack.  Tom McCalister uses his pace to beat Bart MacTavish.  

38' - Tom McCalister spots a run from Tom McClenny.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, and Tom McClenny is able to take the ball.  Tom McClenny reaches the byline and tries a cutback, the ball falling to James MacNaughton.  James MacNaughton strikes the ball towards goal...and James MacNaughton scores!  That's a great goal from the Hibernian player!  The ball flew past the helpless goalkeeper!

38' - Motherwell kick the ball off for the restart.  

45' - Noel MacKintosh finds Jack Malone with a long ball.  Jack Malone uses his pace to beat Eric Sweeney.  

45' - Jack Malone crosses the ball into the box, but no one is able to get to the ball.

He tries to release him with a long throughball, and Peter McAllaster runs on to the ball.  Peter McAllaster attempts to hit the ball past the keeper...but the keeper dives and manages to stop the shot!  

71' - Daniel Apted finds Noel MacKintosh with a short pass.  Eric McNelley successfully tackles Noel MacKintosh and the ball goes loose.  Jack Malone hits the ball long to Gordon MacAlpine.  Gordon MacAlpine sees a run from Tom McCalister.  He tries to split the defence with a throughball, and Tom McCalister is able to take the ball.  Tom McCalister attempts to hit the ball past the keeper...and Tom McCalister scores!  That's a beautiful goal from the Hibernian player!  The ball flew past the diving keepers hand!
