He attempts to play a throughball, and Mason Vint is able to take the ball.  Mason Vint reaches the byline and attempts a cutback and finds Paul Wyburn.  Paul Wyburn attempts to shoot the ball into the top of the net...and its in! It's a nice goal from Paul Wyburn for Southend!  The ball went in off the underside of the crossbar!

35' - Mason Vint hits the ball long to Mel Griffith.  Mel Griffith curves the ball into the box, but Floyd Gabriel intercepts and takes possession.  

37' - Floyd Gabriel finds Leighton Sheilds with a short pass.  With a turn of pace, Leighton Sheilds beats Felix Ahearne.  

39' - John McPhillips crosses the ball and finds Felix Ahearne.  Felix Ahearne looks to strike the ball into the corner of the net...but the keeper dives and manages to stop the shot!  

42' - David Highland attempts to beat Ian Greenway using his skills, but is brought down.  That will be a freekick for Brackey Town.  

43' - Glynn Tierney prepares to take the freekick.  He floats the ball into the box, but Charles Williams intercepts and clears the ball.  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time. 

46' - Brackey Town kick the ball off for the start of the second half.  

52' - John McPhillips hits the ball long to Mel Griffith.  Mel Griffith sees a run from Felix Ahearne.  He attempts a long throughball to his teammate, and Felix Ahearne runs on to the ball.  Felix Ahearne looks to slide the ball past the keeper...but the shot is saved by the keeper!
