8' - Neil McBeth finds Gus Walker with a long pass.  Sid MacLachlan dispossesses Gus Walker and gains possession for his team.  Sid MacLachlan attempts a shot from outside the area, aiming for the corner of the net...but the ball flies wide of the post!

13' - Thomas McVicker passes a long ball to Eric MacLaine.  Eric MacLaine finds Charlie McCallen with a short pass.  Charlie McCallen slides the ball to John Kerr.  John Kerr curves the ball into the box, but Joseph Dolan intercepts and takes possession.  

18' - Paul McBurnett finds Charles Baird with a long pass.  Charles Baird spots a run from Eric MacLaine.  He tries to split the defence with a throughball, and Eric MacLaine is able to take the ball.  Eric MacLaine tries to place the ball past the keeper...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Charlie McCallen pounces on the loose ball...Charlie McCallen fires a shot, aiming for the corner of the net...but the keeper dives and manages to stop the shot!  

22' - Martin Law finds Adam Corson with a long ball.  Adam Corson plays the ball to Jim MacKillop.  Jim MacKillop crosses the ball into the box, finding Hugh Burns.  Hugh Burns takes a shot...but the ball flies wide of the post!

27' - Thomas McVicker plays a long pass to David Osmond.  David Osmond finds John Kerr with a short pass.  John Kerr slides the ball to David Osmond.  Jim MacKillop tackles David Osmond and takes the ball.  Jim MacKillop attempts to hit a long range shot past the keeper...and its in! It's a brilliant goal from Jim MacKillop for Elgin City!  The ball rebounded in off the post!

29' - Patrick Kirk passes to John Kerr.  John Kerr finds David Osmond with a short pass.  David Osmond uses his pace to beat Sid MacLachlan.  

31' - David Osmond spots a run from Patrick Kirk.  He attempts a long ball over the top, and Patrick Kirk runs on to the ball.  Patrick Kirk strikes the ball...but the shot bounces off the post!  Charlie McCallen pounces on the loose ball...Charlie McCallen hits a shot...but its wide!

37' - Patrick Kirk attempts to use his skills to beat Tom McClatchey and succeeds, deftly slipping past the opposing player!  

38' - Patrick Kirk hits the ball from long range...but the shot goes wide!

41' - Martin Law finds Alan Wallace with a long ball.  Alan Wallace passes the ball to Joseph Dolan.  Joseph Dolan crosses the ball into the box, but opposing player Gus Walker takes possession.  

43' - Gus Walker finds David Osmond with a long pass.  David Osmond looks to shoot from distance into the top of the net...and its in! Its a goal for Dundee Utd!  The keeper got a touch but it wasn't enough!

44' - Elgin City kick the ball off for the restart.  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time.

51' - Patrick Kirk dispossesses Jim MacKillop and the ball goes loose.  Sid MacLachlan sees a run from Hugh Burns.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, but Hugh Burns is caught offside!

He attempts to play him through with a quick ball, and Eric MacLaine is able to take the ball.  Eric MacLaine looks to strike the ball into the top of the net...and Eric MacLaine scores! 67' - Thomas McVicker passes the ball to David Osmond.  David Osmond plays a long pass to Charlie McCallen.  Charlie McCallen passes to Hugh McCrae.  Hugh McCrae sees a run from Patrick Kirk.  He attempts to play a throughball, and Patrick Kirk is able to control the ball.  Patrick Kirk tries to strike the ball into the corner of the net...and its in! It's a lovely goal from Patrick Kirk for Dundee Utd!  The ball flew past the helpless goalkeeper!
