36' - Charlie McCrady chips a long ball to Darryl Stackpoole.  Darryl Stackpoole finds Ed Noyce with a short pass.  Ed Noyce spots a run from James Neagle.  He attempts a quick throughball, but James Neagle has strayed offside!  

40' - Duncan MacLennan spots a run from James Neagle.  He tries to split the defence with a throughball, but James Neagle is caught offside!  

43' - James Neagle successfully tackles James Loch and takes the ball.  The Spartans attempt a quick counter attack.  James Neagle fires a shot from distance towards goal...but its wide!

45' - Alan Rhind spots a run from Malcolm Paterson.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, and Malcolm Paterson is able to control the ball.  Malcolm Paterson hits a shot...but the keeper manages to parry the shot!  John McWethy gets to the ball first and clears.

49' - Charles MacTavish passes the ball to Duncan MacLennan.  Duncan MacLennan finds Gavin McWhinnie with a short pass.  Malcolm Paterson tackles Gavin McWhinnie and takes possession.  Airdrieonians try to launch a counter attack.  Malcolm Paterson plays the ball to Malcolm Kerrigan.  Malcolm Kerrigan crosses the ball into the box, finding James Loch.
