34' - Naoki Okane plays the ball to Hikaru Kuse.  Hikaru Kuse sees Nao Yamashita making a run.  He attempts a long ball over the top, but Nao Yamashita is caught offside!  

37' - Ibrahim Kasuri finds Waleed Musa with a long ball.  Waleed Musa sees a run from Irfan Toure.  He attempts a long throughball to his teammate, and Irfan Toure is able to control the ball.  Irfan Toure tries to strike the ball into the top of the net...but the ball flies over the bar!

40' - Naoki Okane plays a long ball to Yuji Tsutsui.  Yuji Tsutsui sees Nao Yamashita making a run.  He attempts to play him through with a quick ball, and Nao Yamashita runs on to the ball.  Nao Yamashita fires a shot towards goal...and Nao Yamashita scores!  That's a fine goal from the Japan player!  The keeper got a hand to the ball but it wasn't enough!

41' - Malaysia kick the ball off for the restart.  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time.

48' - Eiji Taniguchi plays the ball to Yuji Tsutsui.  Yuji Tsutsui passes to Yutaka Kataoka.  Yutaka Kataoka finds Yasushi Kubo with a long pass.  Yasushi Kubo crosses the ball into the box, but Waleed Musa intercepts the ball.  

50' - Eiji Taniguchi looks to strike a long range shot into the corner of the net...and its in! It's a superb goal from Eiji Taniguchi for Japan!  The ball rebounded in off the post!
