16' - Richie Payne plays the ball to Rob Betton.  Ian Aikin dispossesses Rob Betton and the ball goes loose.  John Marvin sees Rob Betton making a run.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, and Rob Betton takes the ball.  Rob Betton tries to strike the ball into the corner of the net...and its in! It's a nice goal from Rob Betton for Chesterfield!  The ball flew past the helpless goalkeeper!

24' - Noah Jones plays a short pass to Glyn Pritchard.  Glyn Pritchard attempts to use his skills to beat Gordon McAfee, but is tripped.    The referee has no hesitation in showing Gordon McAfee the yellow card. That will be a freekick for Northampton.  

25' - Glyn Pritchard will take the freekick.  He lifts the ball into the box, but opposing player Rob Betton takes possession.  

26' - Mel Gillmore attempts to strike a long range shot into the corner of the net...but the shot goes wide!

30' - Sam McCorquodale spots a run from Ian Aikin.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, but the linesman raises his flag for offside!  

34' - Mark Novia finds Rob Betton with a short pass.  Rob Betton plays a long pass to Gordon McAfee.  With a turn of pace, Gordon McAfee beats Chris Dewey.  

34' - Gordon McAfee curves the ball into the box, but the ball is overhit and misses everyone.
