11th January 2023: Football Player - online screen - you should now be able to offer new contracts to players currently out on loan Match Simulation - change threshold of fatigue injuries so they only might happen if fitness drops below 200 in a match. slight increase chance of a foul resulting in a card Player Recovery - slightly increase rate of fitness recovery Academy Player generation - increase the class of players when they turn pro. This should now be at least 1/2 the mean of the club's class and youth academy class. e.g. players turning pro from a premier league club will have class over 400 making them less likely to sign for the lowest league clubs if released. Also, now only a quarter of player's not signed by the academy's club will go on to be free agents. edited by admin on 11/01/2023

More for 11th January 2023: Fixture List - changed the start date of the season for some divisions to reduce some midweek fixtures Updated the cup fixture process which staggers dates over a weekend to only move to Sunday if neither team already have a midweek fixture

12th January 2023: FCSquad - added Fitness column Slight reduction to training improvements in academy and professional so player's less likely to hit their ceiling in very early 20s Amended player's expected number of matches to take into account low fitness. So going forward happiness should not drop so much due to important players not playing most of their matches. edited by admin on 13/01/2023

13th January Fixed sudden death penalty error in match sim Fixed coach- football language modifier in training (reduction in training improvement if coach and player don't have at least 60% in the same language)

28th January Players with background clubs will get small class increases each training processing to bring their class up to a max of 200 more than their club's class. Free agent training adjusted as retirement processing was not working as expected. This should result in less 40+ year old footballers. Player recovery tweaked again << need to monitor edited by admin on 28/01/2023

22nd March 2023 Yellow cards are now counted each season and 5 yellows will result in 1 match ban, 10 will be a 2 match ban Tweaked frequency of yellow cards Tweaked recovery of players Corrected injury processing on tfr deadline day
