I'll take some time to read the old posts. I've tried it before, but I'm not familiar with the terms. I play other managers online, but I confess that it takes me a while to get used to another very different one. I take the opportunity to ask you about the skills that initially appear as: class||exp ( I know what it is, but the maximum is 1000?)||overall ?||fitness

One last thing. I usually look to list players for the game. But without that pitch design, it's hard to know if I'm picking the right players. Is it better for me to do this or leave it up to the coach? Taking into account that the higher the level, the more correct the choice, and that I need to improve the level of my coaches

regarding your investment in the youth academy - this is a VERY long term investment. For example if today you upgraded the academy and changed the youngest age to 9, then you really would not see the full benefit of better youth players for at least 7 seasons when the first 16 year olds are generated having been with the club since 9 years old.

No problem - the in-game guides cover these stats better than I can but yes the max for all those stats is 1000. A player's class increases as they grow in reputation from playing well in matches, a club's class increases as they games, gain promotions etc. Overall rating gives us a much better idea of how good a player is in their main position according to their stats, but as with other manager games some players perform better or worse in matches than their stats/overall rating would suggest - each player has a hidden 'consistency' stat, for example. Some players seem to suit certain tactics/formations better than others etc. On the league table screen for your division you'll see the average squad rating for your division is 664 - that's the average overall rating of their entire squads, so your opponents' first teams will probably be players around 690-700 OR on average. So if I was in that division then I'd be scouting free agents and would be looking for players whose potential is comfortably better than that (potential is basically just their future OR). Experience just goes up based on how much game time the player has had, it doesn't matter at what level, or how well they played. Too many players who are low on match experience will harm your performances. Ftiness is just the player's current fitness level, max 1000 but I think an individual player's max fitness is capped based on the player's stamina stat. It'll decrease after a match then regenerate, usually in time for the next match, but how quickly it regenerates depends on how many games the player has played that month, and the stats of your fitness coach if you have one. If you have a fitness coach and only have league games and the odd cup game then you shouldn't need to worry about fitness.

That's up to you really, the game lets you sit back and just be the owner and let the manager handle things if you want it to be more low-maintenance, but I think most players pick the team and tactics etc themselves, especially in the higher divisions. Admin can correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think a good manager will select the team any better than a bad one, but he does affect your team's performances on the pitch. Different managers will make different selections though, because they'll want to play their preferred formation. If you take control of tactics/formation yourself though, it doesn't matter what they prefer,

What is the youth team player limit? My academy says to review young people from 12 years old. But already entered about 3 after I updated and none came below 16.

Should I fire those who say they have potential between 400 and 500? Or can that change later? (I don't have a scout)

Youth academies will only generate players aged 16, but training youth from a younger age will eventually result in generating better players. For example if you set it to train from 9 years old, you'd start generating better players in 7 years time when those players reach 16.(Be warned this is expensive though!)

Do you mean in your youth academy? If it's definitely their potential and not their overall rating, then no they'll never be any use to you - it doesn't matter whether you release them or just leave them in there to play games for your youth team, that's up to you, but you probably don't want to offer them contracts. 750-1000 potential youth players are the ones you'll want to offer contracts to, unless you're doing a youth-only challenge like Zapper. I just remembered I'd sent a scout to your club to check out your current main squad but forgot to send you the report, I'll do that now edited by longsands on 31/08/2023
