As I mentioned in the support thread, my old laptop harddrive died and I was unable to recover the data. The last backup of the game code I had was from the end of December which meant that all the improvements and fixes I did in January were lost. Now for the last week or so I have been trying to recreate all the fixes just by going through the threads and trying to work out what i did. I think I am just about done now, and I'll be looking to implement this code so we can check everything still works as expected. to make sure I don't accidentally ruin anyones season, I'll try doing this around the end of May gamedate - so before the next fixtures are generated but after all the seasons competitive games have completed. Here is a list of things I had to re-create. Let me know if you remember me fixing anything else: 1) contract offers to loaned out players 2) coaching rep not growing sometimes 3) Updated the cup fixture process which staggers dates over a weekend to only move to Sunday if neither team already have a midweek fixture 4) Fixture List - changed the start date of the season for some divisions to reduce some midweek fixtures 5) Match Simulation - change threshold of fatigue injuries so they only might happen if fitness drops below 200 in a match. 6) Match Sim - slight increase chance of a foul resulting in a card 7) Match Sim - make it so GK fitness doesn't drop at same rate as outfield players 8) Match Sim - if a 1st team player not available from the player's selections, make sure it will use one of the chosen subs if required (e.g. there was an error where a team's 1st choice GK was not available so it put a random player in instead of the sub GK) 9) Fitness recovery tweak - fitness recovery slower the more games the player has had over the last 4 weeks 10) Training injury tweak - max of 2 injuries during any processing and make less likely 11) fixed issue with GK taking sudden death penalties for the home team 12) amend players expectations for matches played (less due to needing rest) 13) slow down academy player improvements 14) slow down pro player improvements 15) fixed coach/player language compatibility modifier - supposed to impact training if player and coach can't communicate 16) players from background clubs should now get small class increases every 6 months up to 200 above their club 17) increase the class of academy player's turning pro so small clubs can't easily pick up players from top tier academies. 18) reduce number of academy players becoming free agents 19) correct free agent retirement processing to reduce number of 40+ aged footballers On-line Screen changes: 1) Staff Search allow filter by attacking/defensive style 2) FC Squad - add fitness 3) Leagues/Fixtures screens - fixed error which stopped us looking at some qualifier fixtures and league placings 4) signing academy player - ensure wage is same as what is shown in the offer screen 5) allow contract offer to loaned out players edited by admin on 13/02/2023

Sounds good. One late one you addressed was playoff games clashing with cup games - some of us had first playoff, cup final and then final playoff game on consecutive days last season.

cheers. that was a database change i think to make the FA Trophy final later, so that should still be ok on the server. i'll double check i don't need to do anything in the code as well

Now champions league final is done, I'll be deploying the "recovered" version of the game so be on the look out for any feature which suddenly stops working or looks unusual. I'll probably get this in maybe lunchtime today

i don't think you have ever been allowed to select lineup when 2 of your teams play each other. it was part of the original design.

just let it play out. see what team the managers pick can't see it in any of the game guides. i'll add it into the default lineup guide i created yesterday edited by admin on 22/02/2023

One of the changes I think was missed was when you do a search for players/staff, more results coming up, like multiple pages

Since recovery, how have injuries been? They have been pretty much non existent for my teams.
