42' - Robert Gibbs curls in a cross, and manages to find Ron Nicholson.  Ron Nicholson gets above the defence and directs a header towards the top corner...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...George McPhail is first to the ball...George McPhail tries to shoot the ball into the top of the net...but the shot goes over!

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time. 

46' - Forres Mechanics FC kick the ball off for the start of the second half.  

48' - Chris Maddox passes the ball to Alan MacIntosh.  Alan MacIntosh plays a short pass to Thomas Rees.  Thomas Rees chips a long ball to Robert Gibbs.  Robert Gibbs curves the ball into the box, but Jim Gregory intercepts the ball.  

51' - Jim Gregory passes to Ken McCants.  George McPhail successfully tackles Ken McCants and the ball goes loose.  Forres Mechanics FC launch a counter attack.  George McPhail finds Ron Nicholson with a short pass.  Ron Nicholson uses his pace to beat Ken McCants.
