Malcolm MacGillivray attempts to slide the ball past the keeper...but Ceri Perkins deflects the shot out of play.  The linesman flags for a corner for  Whitby.  Lloyd Bevans gets ready to take the corner.  He hits the ball into the box, but he only manages to find opposing player Ian Dunn.  

16' - Ryan Cooper crosses the ball, but no one is able to get to the ball.

17' - Bruce Rees tackles Mark Stenhouse and the ball goes loose.  Atherton attempt to counter.  William MacLean sees a run from Jim McClennen.  He attempts a quick throughball, but the linesman raises his flag for offside!  

18' - Rob McCleese runs with the ball, beating Peter Llewellyn.  

21' - Mark Mose passes a long ball to Lloyd Bevans.  Lloyd Bevans tries to use ball skills to beat Charles Meyrick and succeeds, sending his opponent the wrong way!

24' - Mark Mose finds Bob Malcolm with a short pass.  Bob Malcolm uses his pace to beat Charles Meyrick.

51' - Bruce Rees prepares to take the freekick.  He sends the ball into the box and finds Jim McClennen.  Jim McClennen tries to shoot the ball into the corner of the net...and Jim McClennen scores!  That's a good goal from the Atherton player!  The keeper had no chance!

Malcolm MacGillivray tries to shoot the ball into the corner of the net...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Michael Sommer gets to the ball first and clears.
