He tries to release him with a long throughball, and Robert McAlpine is able to control the ball.  Robert McAlpine hits a shot towards goal...but its wide!

37' - Mark MacMasters passes to Alexander Berry.  Alexander Berry plays the ball to Alen Patience.  Alen Patience sees a run from Wayne Lynch.  He attempts to play a throughball, and Wayne Lynch is able to take the ball.  Wayne Lynch looks to shoot the ball into the corner of the net...but the shot is tipped around the post by Rich McCrae!  The linesman flags for a corner for  Motherwell.  Wayne Lynch will take the corner.  He curves the ball into the box, finding Charlie Tierney.  Charlie Tierney jumps up to head the ball hoping to beat the keeper...but the keeper manages to stop the shot!  

43' - Ronald McTyre dispossesses Alexander Berry and takes the ball.  Mark MacMasters successfully tackles Ronald McTyre and the ball goes loose.  Mark MacMasters plays the ball to Wayne Lynch.  Wayne Lynch spots a run from Alen Patience.  He tries to split the defence with a throughball, but Alen Patience is caught offside!  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time.

48' - Ron Taylor plays a short pass to Mark MacMasters.  Mark MacMasters passes to Ron Taylor.  Ron Taylor slides the ball to Dennis MacQuarrie.  Dennis MacQuarrie spots a run from Duncan Evans.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, but Duncan Evans is caught offside!

80' - Alexander Berry finds Ron Taylor with a short pass.  Alex MacGibbon dispossesses Ron Taylor and takes possession.  With a turn of pace, Alex MacGibbon beats Alexander Berry.  

81' - Alex MacGibbon sees a run from Ronald McTyre.  He attempts a long throughball to his teammate, and Ronald McTyre is able to take the ball.  Ronald McTyre attempts to place the ball past the keeper...but the shot is offtarget!
