The linesman signals its a corner for Sporting Cristal.  Desiderio Oliveros places the ball to take the corner.  He curls the ball into the box, and manages to find Hernan Nicodemus.  Hernan Nicodemus jumps up and gets his head to the ball attempting to beat the keeper...but the shot sails over the bar!

40' - Neron Cardoza dispossesses Desiderio Oliveros and gains possession for his team.  Neron Cardoza tries to strike a long range shot into the top of the net...and Neron Cardoza scores!  That's a brilliant goal from the Bahia player!  The keeper got a hand to the ball but it wasn't enough!

40' - Sporting Cristal kick the ball off for the restart.  

45' - Orlando Canas passes to Desiderio Oliveros.  Desiderio Oliveros finds Diego Cancel with a short pass.  Diego Cancel finds Frisco Hermosillo with a short pass.
