24' - Robert Kitchen finds Dave Berne with a long pass.  Dave Berne looks to strike a long range shot into the corner of the net...but the shot is tipped around the post by Adam Akinjide!  The linesman signals its a corner for Wigan.  Patrick Carey will take the corner.  He curves the ball into the box, finding Danny Mulryan.  Danny Mulryan directs a powerful header down towards the bottom corner...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Paul Leary is first to the loose ball...Paul Leary tries to shoot the ball into the top of the net...but the ball flies over the bar!

30' - Neil MacIntire plays a long pass to Paul Leary.  Paul Leary sees John Kemp making a run.  He tries to release him with a long throughball, but the linesman signals for offside!  

35' - Paul Driscoll passes the ball to Brett MacConnell.  Brett MacConnell spots a run from Angus Watt.  He attempts to release him with a throughball, and Angus Watt is able to control the ball.  Angus Watt looks to shoot the ball into the top of the net...and its in! It's a nice goal from Angus Watt for Fleetwood!  The ball bounced off the post and into the net!

36' - Wigan kick the ball off for the restart.  

39' - Paul Driscoll runs with the ball, but is brought down illegally by John Lynn.    The referee has no hesitation in showing John Lynn the yellow card. That will be a freekick for Fleetwood.  

40' - Paul Driscoll stands over the ball, preparing to take the freekick.  He lifts the ball into the box, but Paul Leary intercepts and takes possession.  

42' - Paul Leary tries to strike a long range shot into the corner of the net...but the shot is saved by Adam Akinjide!  

44' - Adam Akinjide finds Gordon McQuiston with a short pass.  Dave Berne tackles Gordon McQuiston and the ball goes loose.  Wigan try to launch a quick counter attack.  Patrick Carey speeds past Owen Entwistle.
