The linesman flags for a corner for  Atherton.  Sammy Newell gets ready to take the corner.  He hits the ball into the box, and manages to find Joseph Taylor.  Joseph Taylor directs a powerful header hoping to beat Gregor Breen...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Max Roose is first to the loose ball and is able to clear.

48' - Malcolm Berthelsen passes to Victor Davies.  Victor Davies finds Mervyn Myles with a short pass.  Mervyn Myles finds Malcolm Berthelsen with a long ball.  Malcolm Berthelsen sees Joshua Dick making a run.  He tries to split the defence with a throughball, but the linesman signals for offside!  

53' - Joshua Dick sees Victor Davies making a run.  He tries to release him with a long ball over the top, and Victor Davies takes the ball.  Victor Davies attempts to place the ball past the keeper...and its in! It's a fine goal from Victor Davies for Atherton!  The ball flew into the corner of the net!
