20' - David Forbes plays a short pass to Jesper Melaga.  John Devlin successfully tackles Jesper Melaga and gains possession for his team.  NYC FC attempt to counter.  John Devlin passes to Edward Oughton.  Edward Oughton attempts to beat Jesper Melaga using his skills and succeeds, deftly slipping past the opposing player!  

21' - Edward Oughton spots a run from Sam Doughtie.  He tries to release him with a throughball, but the linesman raises his flag for offside!  

25' - Leo Saddler hits the ball long to Michael Hosack.  Michael Hosack hits a shot from outside the area...but the keeper manages to tip the shot round the post!  That will be a corner for  Toronto.  Leo Saddler places the ball to take the corner.  He hits the ball into the box and finds Mike Ainslie.  Mike Ainslie heads the ball towards goal...but Joseph Keillor gets down to stop the shot!

29' - Leo Saddler chips a long ball to Jesper Melaga.  Jesper Melaga passes to Mark Hendrickson.  Mark Hendrickson curls in a cross, but Edward Oughton intercepts the ball.  

34' - Ben Wilson spots a run from Mark Hendrickson.  He tries to release him with a throughball, and Mark Hendrickson is able to take the ball.  Mark Hendrickson attempts to hit the ball past the keeper...but the shot bounces off the post!  Steven Pasley is first to the ball and makes the clearance.

36' - John Devlin tackles Ben Wilson and the ball goes loose.  NYC FC try to launch a quick counter attack.  Bart Down passes the ball to Sam Doughtie.  Sam Doughtie takes the ball past Stephen Maddix with a turn of pace.  

38' - Sam Doughtie whips in a cross, and manages to find Bart Down.  Bart Down attempts a shot towards goal...but the keeper manages to parry the shot!  Bart Down is first to the loose ball...Bart Down looks to strike the ball into the corner of the net...and Bart Down scores!  That's a good goal from the NYC FC player!  The diving keeper couldn't get near the ball!

38' - Toronto kick the ball off for the restart.  

44' - Sam Doughtie plays a short pass to Steven Pasley.  Steven Pasley curls in a cross, but Ben Wilson intercepts and takes possession.  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time.
