4' - Ian Monahan passes to Tim Rheon.  Tim Rheon slides the ball to Mark Curvis.  Mark Curvis plays a long pass to Martyn Bower.  Martyn Bower finds John Baird with a short pass.  John Baird attempts to outskill Chris Spade and succeeds, deftly slipping past the opposing player!  

6' - John Baird tries to hit a long range shot past the keeper...but the shot is deflected out of play by the keeper!  The linesman signals its a corner for Rhyl.  John Baird will take the corner.  He whips the ball into the box, finding Steven Reid.  Steven Reid gets his head to the ball towards the top corner...but Ewan Fitzsimmons deflects the shot out of play.  That will be a corner for  Rhyl.  Tim Rheon gets ready to take the corner.  He hits the ball into the box, but opposing player Anthony Priddy takes possession.  

10' - Anthony Priddy passes to Hugh Chancellor.  Hugh Chancellor hits the ball long to Bryan Russell.  Bryan Russell attempts a shot from long range...and its in! It's a lovely goal from Bryan Russell for Newport!  The keeper got a touch but it wasn't enough!

11' - Rhyl kick the ball off for the restart.  

15' - Sam Jones hits a shot from outside the area towards goal...but the shot is offtarget!

16' - Ewan Fitzsimmons passes a long ball to Bob Fannon.  Bob Fannon crosses the ball, but he only manages to find opposing player Aidan Gibson.  

23' - Hugh Chancellor dispossesses Tim Rheon and the ball goes loose.  Theo Coughlan sees a run from Jeremy Prichard.  He attempts a long ball over the top, but the linesman raises his flag for offside!  

24' - Tim Rheon chips a long ball to Martyn Bower.  Martyn Bower crosses the ball into the box, but opposing player Bryan Russell takes possession.  

26' - Steven Reid successfully tackles Bryan Russell and the ball goes loose.  Oliver MacBride sees a run from Theo Coughlan.  He attempts to play him through with a quick ball, but the linesman raises his flag for offside!  

32' - Tim Rheon spots a run from Steven Reid.  He attempts a long throughball to his teammate, and Steven Reid runs on to the ball.  Steven Reid looks to place the ball past the keeper...and Steven Reid scores!  That's a good goal from the Rhyl player!  The ball bounced off the post and into the net!

33' - Newport kick the ball off for the restart.  

37' - John Baird runs with the ball, beating Bob Fannon.  

39' - John Baird passes the ball to Hugh Gruffudd.  With a turn of pace, Hugh Gruffudd beats Oliver MacBride, but is then fouled.    The referee shows Oliver MacBride the yellow card! That will be a freekick for Rhyl.  

40' - Tim Rheon prepares to take the freekick.  He curls the ball into the box, but he only manages to find opposing player Hugh Chancellor.  

45' - The referee blows the whistle for half time. 

46' - Newport kick the ball off for the start of the second half.  

48' - Theo Coughlan plays a short pass to Philip MacMasters.  Philip MacMasters passes to Chris Spade.  Chris Spade hits the ball long to Anthony Priddy.  Anthony Priddy sees a run from Jeremy Prichard.  He attempts to release him with a throughball, but the linesman raises his flag for offside!  

53' - Tim Rheon finds Hugh Gruffudd with a long pass.  Hugh Gruffudd tries to hit a long range shot...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Anthony Priddy gets to the ball first and clears.

56' - Hugh Gruffudd sees a run from Tim Rheon.  He attempts to play him through with a quick ball, and Tim Rheon is able to take the ball.  Tim Rheon tries to strike the ball into the corner of the net...and its in! It's a nice goal from Tim Rheon for Rhyl!  The keeper got a hand to the ball but couldn't stop the shot!

63' - Oliver MacBride finds Chris Spade with a short pass.  Chris Spade plays a short pass to Bryan Russell.  Bryan Russell passes a long ball to Bob Fannon. Jeremy Prichard looks to place the ball past the keeper...and its in! It's a nice goal from Jeremy Prichard for Newport!  The ball flew past the diving keepers hand!
