He attempts to release him with a throughball, and Brian MacGillivray is able to take the ball.  Brian MacGillivray reaches the byline and tries a cutback and finds Peter Owens.  Peter Owens tries to shoot the ball into the top of the net...but the shot is stopped by the keeper!  He is unable to hold it though...Ed McPhetridge is first to the loose ball...Ed McPhetridge takes a shot...and its in! It's an excellent goal from Ed McPhetridge for Greenock Morton!  The ball flew past the diving keepers hand!

71' - Frank Ayrton passes the ball to Eric McBryde.  Eric McBryde plays a short pass to Robert McRae.  Robert McRae sees Eddie Gray making a run.  He attempts a long ball over the top, and Eddie Gray is able to take the ball.  Eddie Gray attempts the cutback, the ball falling to William MacGuire.  William MacGuire hits a shot towards goal...but the shot is saved by Ian Cavanaugh!
