Stripped of my clubs?!


Simon Templar 28/10/2025 at 11:48 SSC Napoli Caldas SC Buxton FC Hi, I just got an email telling me that owing to inactivity two of my clubs have been sold! I have not been playing the game for these past two seasons as it was about to reboot, but I have deliberately been logging in when I got inactivity warnings in order to keep my clubs. I received just two warnings and logged in immediately for both. I have not had a warning in a while, but suddenly two of my clubs have been sold, but not Buxton. How is that possible? Can you restore them to me? Surely if I had not been logging in all three would have been stripped from me, so is this a gllitch?
Simon Templar 28/10/2025 at 12:13 SSC Napoli Caldas SC Buxton FC I'll probably just keep Buxton and buy two new clubs, but this is an alarming glitch - I was in the game within the required timeframe, and surely if I had been inactive I should have lost all three. So something is unstable.

Haven't looked at activity code in a while But you might as well have them for rest of the seasona as we are restarting anyway

admin 28/10/2025 at 20:29 Atlético Clube Goianiense PS, i've checked the code and the "last active" date should get updated when you go into any of the following screens: FootballClub (i..e the club overview screen) RecentMatches OwnersOffice Leagues Fixtures If you just go to the home page, then it won't update. The only reason you managed to hang on to Buxton is the game processing crashed when it tried to pay you money for selling the first 2 clubs (bust the integer limit i guess).

That's a pretty big detail to leave unclear, that you need to do more than log in to the game to count as active. I was literally just going to the home page and logging into my account assuming that would keep me ticking over until the end of the season and I could have a final look at them. Thanks for bolting it back together. We're moving house right now,, and very busy with work, kids etc., so have let it coast given you were turning off life support anyway, but I will be back active for the relaunch. Thank you! ST

Some people were so far gone over the horizon that it was impossible to catch up, great to reset wealth and stats imho. Just wanted a chance to bid a teary farewell rather than the abrupt execution which happened!

Yeah, i just picked a few screens which you'd have to use if you were genuinely "active". i'll update the activity guidelines. re teary farewells, i'll try leaving it a couple of game weeks or so after the last match has taken place so players can see how their clubs finished. Also, i want to capture each owner's club records and i can save somewhere for the memories
